I am an energetic and curious quantitative researcher and software engineer with strong experience in statistics, machine learning, and distributed systems. I studied Computer Science at Princeton University and graduated in 2020 with minors in Finance, Statistics & Machine Learning, and Engineering & Management Systems. My undergraduate thesis research with Dr. Olga Russakovsky focused on evaluating the compositionality of Visual Question Answering models. I have demonstrated the ability to quickly learn new languages and apply them immediately and effectively to critical company projects. I have shown the ability to handle large volumes of work while balancing multiple priorities. I hope to continue to increase my understanding of algorithms and machine learning while tackling a variety of projects.

I love working on interesting side projects and challenging myself to learn new things. I recently started writing a blog here about MPI and CUDA as I continue to develop my own distributed AI/ML skill set. I love understanding things and try to take an empirical approach to research and iteration. I always find myself asking the questions “How can I prove/disprove this with an example?” and “Now that I have a grasp of this, what next?” Outside of computer science, I draw inspiration and motivation from my Catholic faith, which helps ground me in who I am and highlights the importance of humility and service. I also enjoy playing rugby and basketball, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
